The COMPACTA-OM is a compact, fully automatic packaging system designed for efficient and hygienic bagging of powders and granules into pre-formed open-mouth bags. Engineered for low to mid-range production rates, it delivers performance, flexibility, and ease of use; ideal for food, chemical, and industrial applications where cleanliness and fast changeovers are essential.
With a mechanical speed of up to 700 bags/hour, the COMPACTA-OM handles a wide variety of bag types and sizes, while offering precision dosing in either gross or net weight modes. Its integrated, next-generation control panel provides intuitive operation and real-time diagnostics, streamlining configuration and minimizing operator intervention.
Designed for Clean, Contamination-Free Operation
The machine features wide access points for thorough, fast cleaning and a dust-catching system at the filling point to maintain hygienic standards (filter not included). A specially designed bag spout system allows quick, tool-free changeovers for different bag dimensions—reducing downtime and improving packaging line flexibility.
Automated Bag Handling for Continuous Flow
The multi-chamber bag magazine accommodates up to four bag stacks, automatically feeding bags forward to reduce manual handling and increase uptime. From bag pickup to closing, the entire cycle is automated and continuous, minimizing contamination risks and ensuring smooth transitions between packaging stages.
Versatile and Operator-Friendly
The COMPACTA-OM supports a wide range of open-mouth bags, including gusseted and pinch-bottom types, made from paper or woven PP. Bag sizes range from 300–600 mm wide and 300–1100 mm long, with filling capacities between 5 to 50 kg. With its integrated Siemens PLC controller and ergonomic touchscreen panel, operation is simple, clear, and efficient.
